HE HAS RISEN !!!!!!!!! HAPPY EASTER

So...Sunday morning started off good until we headed to church, more on that later.
 I woke up Allie Hunter so she would have time to see and play with what all the "Easter Bunny Rabbit" brought her before we had to get ready for church. All she had said the night before she wanted was a BIG BIG BIG BIG prize and a balloon. After AH and her daddy had a serious convo about why the Easter bunny couldn't blow up balloons cause their hands were to small she finally said "daddy, bunnies can to blow up balloons, see they just blow like this" sister doesn't miss a beat. She was so excited when she walked into the den and saw her princess bicycle. I know, Easter bunnies don't normal bring toys like bikes but this Easter bunny decided instead of several small gifts he would just get one nice gift :) Lucky AH. She also got some fabulous glitter side walk chalk that has to ride in the bicycle too. So once we headed to church we didn't even get half way there and she says "mommie, I'm about the throw up" WHAT...really then she starts this cough like she is trying to make herself throw up. UGH-well guess what she does ! Thank goodness it was more like spit throw up instead of like deep down stomach throw up. But needless to say we had to turn around and go back home to change her dress. When we finally made it to church we walked into them singing the last song right before the sermon started. Better late then never. It was an awesome service and they had a video of 3 testimony's about how these people found god after they thought they were nothing but a piece of junk. IT WAS AMAZING. I literally cried through the entire video. It's so awesome seeing what GOD can do. After service Chad, Allie Hunter and I had a little family Easter lunch at Cypress Inn then headed straight down to the farm. Chad's mom side all came over and the kids had a blast riding the horse buggy and finding Easter eggs. Dinner was delicious as always.

Weekend Update

March 22-24, 2013

This weekend was so relaxing and we didn't really have anything we had to do. Friday after work I ran a few errands, picked up AH and headed home. Chad grilled us supper while AH and I snuggled watching a movie on TV.

Saturday Chad woke up and went hunting while AH and I slept in. We were lazy pretty much all day and even took a long good nap. It was rainy and cold outside so we just enjoyed playing inside and for some reason AH was all about Levi. That evening we rode over to Poppy and Mimi's house and ended up having dinner at Wings and dessert at Krispy Kreme :) Chad even surprised us and came home that night !! He was so excited, he had killed his first turkey for this season. AH was all into asking her daddy questions about the turkey.

Sunday Chad went back out of town hunting while AH and I got ready for church.

While I was trying to get ready for church this is my sweet little conversation I had with AH.

AH-Mommie, can Levi come to church with me today?

Wow-really I mean I had no words she was correct. Just had to explain that puppy dogs had to stay home.

It was an amazing service on Encountering the Cross. After church we had lunch with our sweet friends at Zaxbys then headed home for a nap. That afternoon AH wanted to bake her Minnie Mouse sugar cookies and we dyed some Easter Eggs.

Weekend Update

March 15-17,2013

This weekend started off GREAT (remember later I said started off). Chad was gone out of town turkey hunting with J (my cousin Ashley's husband). This is the time of year I get to feel like a single parent. I don't know how they do it and I look up to them everyday. AH and I did a little shopping in midtown with Mimi Friday afternoon and ended up having supper at Longhorns with Joseph, Jennifer and JD. 

Saturday morning AH and I woke up early so we could have breakfast at Waffle House with Mimi and "Man"-It's really Nan but AH refuses to call her that. Then we headed down to Eutaw to visit TOTO. I always love going down there to visit her and I know it brightens her day to get to see Allie Hunter. Saturday night we had dinner at Olive Garden for supper and then AH and I headed home to go to bed early so we could get up early for church.

AH insisted on being just like "man" and wearing her glasses on her head and she even had to hold "man's" hand for the ride back home.

                            

                      

Well remember earlier I said my weekend started off great well...it ended far from the word great. The horrible stomach virus had made it's debut at our house. I was up from 10:30-7:00 Sunday morning. I'm sure you can image what I was doing. Ugh..I just wanted to die. I felt like I had food poisoning cause I had had it in high school and it was just as bad but mom and I had the same thing for dinner Saturday night so I knew it was just a very bad case of stomach virus. Thank the lord for my amazing mother who came to my rescue at 6:30 Sunday morning to help with AH. I literally lied in the bed all day sick. Of course Allie Hunter's ballet pics were this day too. SO HUGE thanks again to my mom for handling all that for me and my great friend Kelli for helping mom get her ready at the studio.

She is obsessed with the birds at Mimi and Poppy's house. Not sure if this is Sugar or Peppa :)

On an exciting note. J killed his first turkey this weekend with Chad. I think Chad was just as excited if not more than J about it. I hope Chad didn't ruin J and hunting cause Chad is a hardcore turkey hunter.

Weekend Update

Friday March 1-3,2013

Friday morning started off great. Finally got a great nights sleep and didn't have to be rushed to take AH to school. She was going to hang with her daddy all day and run errands. I actually drove all the way to work and didn't realize till I got there that I had drove without the radio on. Just love the peacefulness, forgot what it feels like without a kid in the back talking non-stop. Chad and Allie Hunter made a surprise visit to see TOTO and boy was she estactic. AH loves going to see her. Then they pretty much spent the rest of the day at the farm.
After work I got to go do a little shopping for myself without a child and run a few errands. Very rarely happens (the shopping for myself and without a child) That evening when I got home AH was so excited to see me and tell me all about her day.

Friday Movie Night, She picked Cinderella  !!!

Saturday morning we woke up early and took Samson to the vet for his puppy check up. He did great. Dr.Averette tried to convince AH into taking a kitty home and leaving Samson but she told him "Samson's my puppy". So he took that as a NO. Samson weighed almost 14lbs. and he's only 8 weeks old. Two weeks ago when I took him he weighed 9lbs. He gained almost 5 lbs. WOW, we said we wanted a big dog! Afterwards we went back home to get ready to head to bham. We left a little before lunch cause Chad wanted to go gun shopping. Well...WE  Chad ended up getting us a pistol (it's suppose to be mine though). AH was so good shopping but she knew where we were going next. She kept telling everybody she was fixing to go see Mickey Mouse, Jessie and the princesses with her sister. (I just have to go along with it now) I've come to the conclusion she must be going through an "only child syndrome" phase. The Mickey's Musical was wonderful. Allie Hunter had so much fun. I don't think we have ever seen her so into something. They got the kids to stand up and dance and get involved. Highly recommend it. After the musical we ate a delicious supper and dessert at the Cheesecake Factory.

Sunday we woke up sorta late (I blame it on the time change) and rushed to get to church. This week ended our Love Series and it was the PERFECT ending. Lunch at Taco Casa then off with our friends TC, Meg and Reagan for some practice in gun shooting. We had a blast. The weather was perfect and the gun shots seemed to not bother the girls at all. This was my first time shooting a pistol and since the last time I shot a gun I broke my nose so any kind of gun scares me to death. This had me nervous all day. But I did it and even hit the can my 2nd shot.

Hope you can still hear Meg, considering you forgot your ear plugs !!

Weekend Update

March 1-3,2013

Friday after work I had to run to Walmart to get some dog food. For those of you who know me I HATE WALMART. I swear I only go about once a year. The last time I've been to Walmart is last summer. Well just so happened to find a $50 gift card in my wallet that prompted me to go there and shop. There's not telling how long Ive had it and I'm surprised it still worked. Learned to lessons during my trip 1-Park near the flowers(you get such a closer park) 2-check out near the flowers(this is a must) There is never anybody checking out there and especially if you just have a hand full of things,its AWESOME. Forget how much money I am saving by purchasing dog food, washing detergent and household products from there. Hence-my new favorite place to shop for home items :)

That evening Aunt Jennifer and JD came over to just chill and hang out. Nothing special. Here is a pic of AH giving JD a much needed sticker facial :)

Saturday Chad went to town to do some Pro Staffing at a hunting store in town for turkey calls. This was so up is alley! Allie Hunter and I just stayed home pretty much all day being lazy, staying warm and watching Disney Movies.

Sunday I was so excited to get up and got to church. Every since we've started going to Church of the Highlands I wake up early and I am ready to go. I LOVE IT THERE ! :) After church we had lunch at Chang's then headed home for a nap. Chad finally got some time to do some work in the backyard. We had some stuff that needed to be burned (taking advantage of our fire pit) and just some straightening up outside to get done. That night we joined Poppy, Mimi, Aunt Jen Jen, JD, Joseph and Adam at Jalapenos for supper. Of course AH and I were thrilled cause this is our favorite place to eat !! That evening AH started to get her bad sinus crud again, coughing, running nose, whinny, gagging. ugh...we just got off antibiotics for this crap last week and now its back. Knowing it would be a long night with her we went to bed early.
