Mother's Day 2013

Sunday May 12

Mother's Day for me was PERFECT. Couldn't have been better. We all woke up that morning went to an amazing church service then Chad and Allie Hunter took me out for lunch at Longhorns. YUMMY-So delicious. We headed home played in the yard some, took naps, and that evening Chad fixed me supper and we all snuggled on the couch and watched Brave as a family. Which is an adorable movie. AH loved it. It was such a stress-free, relaxing day. We had seen both our moms the day before after Allie Hunter's recital to celebrate Mother's Day with them so this day was ALL MINE. Chad and Allie Hunter for sure spoiled me.

Thank you Jesus for allowing me to be this sweet girls Mommie. I feel so honored and blessed. Hope I'm as half the Mommie to her as mine was to me.

SURPRISE !!!

Allie Hunter is going to be a BIG SISTER !!!!

Chad and I are thankful to be blessed with another sweet little baby. Arriving in the Winter of 2013. Allie Hunter is excited too.

Don't think she fully understands what's happening, but she knows she will be getting a sweet baby sister or brother soon. One day she'll say she wants a brother so she doesn't have to share her princesses with him then the next day she says she wants a sister so she can paint her fingernails :) so sweet. I still can't believe AH won't be our only child anymore but I know she will be the best big sister EVER !!!

Allie Hunter's 1st Ballet Recital

Saturday May 11

Allie Hunter has been taking ballet at ABJ since she was around 18 months old. We started off in a Mommy and Me class for a few sessions and this past year she moved up to the Creative Movements class. Which means Mommie can just sit out in the lobby and have some adult socialization. She has loved every minute of ballet and adores her teacher Ms. Molly Brooke. Since she moved up she got to participate in the spring recital. She was so excited to be learning a little dance and getting to wear a "princess ballet outfit". Their theme this year was Cinderella and it was at the Bama Theatre. Allie Hunter did AMAZING. She remembered her dance and she rocked it. I was so proud of her. She's such a brave little girl. She was also excited that everybody got to come watch her dance on the big stage. Poppy, Mimi, Aunt Jennifer, Uncle JoJo,JD,"Man",Lena,Paw Paw, Gigi, and of course Chad and I all came to watch her.

So thankful for Aunt Jen Jen who helped Mommie get Allie Hunter's make up and hair ready for her big day !!

Her ballet picture

OK, so let me explain. GOD LOVE HER. The day she was scheduled to have her pictures taken at the studio Mommie had been up ALL NIGHT LONG with the horrible stomach bug so MiMi had to come to the rescue. Allie Hunter just wasn't having it. Thank goodness for her teacher Ms. Molly Brooke for getting her so she could retake it. Bless

Allie Hunter's 1st Hair Cut

So let me start off by rephrasing the Post title.

"Allie Hunter's 1st Hair Trim"
Wednesday May 1, 2013

For all of you that know me I have the worst phobia of getting my hair cut or even trimmed. I just fear that someone is going to "bump" into the hair stylist and whack there goes my hair. Poor AH might end up just like me cause I've had the same phobia for her for almost the past 3 years. She has never not once had her hair cut. Scissors have NEVER touched this child's hair. So this was a big deal for ME. She really could have cared less. Her hair has gotten SO long and bless her, it's thin and fine just like mine and her daddy's. The ends were really starting to need a little help since it had grown out so long. I promised Chad when she turned 3 I would get it trimmed. The time had come. I took her to my hair stylist, Lacey. She is nothing but AWESOME. The entire day I had texted her non-stop about being so nervous and to not make fun of me if I cried. Proud to say I didn't cry though. Should have taken a pic of myself to show y'all the look of nervousness on my face.

Here we go..........

She wouldn't look at me and smile for anything. She just kept staring at herself in the mirror

Mouth full of M&M's

Post Hair Cut. My almost 3 year old. Thank you so much Lacey.

The cutest little "my first haircut" certificate EVER !!

After walking around the store for literally 30 minutes trying to pick out a prize she finally picked this Let's Go Fishin' game. She's so indecisive like me! Bless her.

Emma Grace is 3 !!!

This past weekend Allie Hunter got to celebrate one of her best friends birthday !! She kept telling everybody all morning Saturday that she was going to Emma Grace's party and was gonna sing happy birthday to her really really loud. So sweet. Her birthday was at Bowers Park beside one of the little playgrounds. She also had a princess blow up jumping house. AH was obsessed with it. Considering AH hadn't had a nap all day thank goodness she was in a good mood and thank goodness the party was outside so she could just run crazy and play. AH also got to see a couple of friends she doesn't get to see as much anymore.

My beautiful angel.

Getting ready to sing "happy birthday"

Kelli was a brave soul with this idea, had me nervous the entire time.

So proud of Gonnie for jumping with the kids !!

Helping EG open her presents

Whew....AH made me so nervous with this bat. Thank goodness she didn't care for wanting to do this more than once.

Having a blast in the princess jump house

This was pre-melt down pic. She didn't understand why she couldn't just open one and let EG open one instead of having to help her.

Girls trip to TOTOS !!!

Saturday morning my Aunt Anne, cousins Lena and Ashley, my mom, sister, Allie Hunter and I all loaded up in my SUV and headed down to Eutaw to visit TOTO. Before we headed down we all meet and had an awesome breakfast at Waffle House. Chad had gone turkey hunting early that morning and had already killed one and was headed back home so he stopped and joined us to eat. After breakfast we were own our way. We got to Toto's about 10ish and stayed for about 2 hours. She loved having all us girls down there. Of course AH kept us entertained the ENTIRE time. She made us play the "picking" game where she walks up to you with a handful of crayons and says "pick, which color you want" until they are all gone then she collects them all back up. It really has no point but its still cute. She also had Ashley up doing some ballet moves, now that was hilarious. Of course TOTO always has stickers so we pretty much had stickers on everything. We all had a wonderful time together getting to catch up and talk since it's not very often all us girls get together.
As AH would say "We love you Toto to the moon and back"

"Man" since AH still refuses to say "Nan" doing what she does best taking pictures. We were trying to get AH to smile and all she would do was give us this big massive cheesy grin. And No to everyone thinking that I wasn't paying attention while driving, I was getting gas !!

Love these 3 !!!

Jennifer, Lena, Ashley and Me

The picture says it all "AH and her girls"

Park Fun

Here lately Allie Hunter has been obsessed with wanting to go to the park ALL THE TIME. This particular day we went to the playground at the elementary school beside Mimi and Poppy's house. It's so convenient since they only live like 2 houses down from the playground. I let AH ride her barbie jeep there and she thought she was something special. She LOVES the park. I think it's because she can actually do everything all by herself and we all know she's a very independent person. (she gets that from me)

See her little barbie jeep in the background. She got that for her 1st birthday from Chad and I. Think it's about time for an upgrade. Bless it, she's pretty much out grown it.

She looks so grown up in this picture. Can't believe she's fixing to be 3 in a month :( Time please slow down.

So happy and innocent, not a care in the world.
