Weekend Update

Thursday night I was so proud of Chad he played Mr.Mom to Allie Hunter and a friend of mine little boy, Colton. I think Chad had more fun than the kids did. :) They had a blast and I believe they were both asleep before their heads even hit the pillow that night. Rebekah and I went to see our co-worker in a play at her church. It was such a good play with wonderful music. Kristie did an AWESOME job !!! This was the pic I got while we were at the play.

Nothing like a dinner and movie date :)

Friday night we finally were lazy. We did nothing except grocery shop and ride around looking at Christmas lights with Allie Hunter. Chad fixed us supper and I literally ate the most amazing fries I have ever eaten in my life. Better than any restaurant or fast food fries. Who knew he was Mr.Chef.
Saturday I had a girls day. I have been looking forward to this day for weeks. Two good friends of mine,Kelli and Meg,and I went and had sushi at Hokkaido for lunch then off to the The Nutcracker ballet performance. It was so good. I've always said I wanted to go just never found anybody to go with me.
When I got home instead of doing the chores my husband was suppose to do this is what he did instead.....
My awesome new fire pit...It's almost finished. Thanks to some help from JD. So guess I couldn't be to made he didn't do the chores. At least he did something productive. That night we went over to a friends house and they made some DELICIOUS(or her husband did) Japanese food. I definitely think I will skip going to Hokkaido and just pull on over to their house next time. :) AH had a blast playing and we had a good time getting to socialize. Think AH was worn out cause we didn't get home till late and she was asleep before I even cut off the light. The next morning we all over slept and missed church
:( I hate we missed it but so thankful you can watch it live on the Internet. I enjoyed the praise and worship so much. It was a wonderful message. Then around lunch we headed down to the farm to do Christmas with Chad's Uncle and his family. Busy weekend again but was sad to see it gone so fast cause this upcoming week is going to be so busy with trying to get last minute stuff done for Christmas.

Elk Hunting

Since I always blog about myself or what we do as a family I figured it was only fair to blog on behalf of Chad. I'm sure one day he will appreciate being able to look back at some pictures I stole off his facebook page to put on here :)

The day after Thanksgiving Chad, his dad and another guy named Jim loaded up and headed out to Raton, New Mexico. They had all 3 gone the year before and Chad killed his first elk (thank goodness we moved just in time cause now he has an awesome place in his man room for it instead of the den)
It took them about 22 hours to get there and they drove it straight. They were gone about 8 days. That was a long 8 days for me, and I hate staying by myself at home. Thank goodness for MiMi keeping us company some.  Needless to say, :( They all came home empty handed. But as Chad said "Oh well, we made some fun memories" my response "That was some expensive memories" Here are a few pictures that I got from Chad. They are all gorgeous and I can't image how breathtaking they were in person.

Thank goodness we still have plenty of meat from last years kill. Till next year........

Allie Hunter's Ballet

Last week was Allie Hunter's last ballet class for the semester. It was also friend/family night. Anybody could come and we were able to sit in the room with them and watch all that they have learned this semester. It was so cute and so much fun to watch all these little kids. Gigi, Mimi and my sister all came to watch AH. She was so excited that we were in there watching her. She kept looking at us and smiling. She looked so grown up.

She loves to tap dance :)

AH loves circle time, you get to get a stamp before class starts.

Weekend Update/Christmas @ TOTO'S

Friday night we went to dinner with Gigi and Paw Paw (Chad's parents) @ Longhorn's Steakhouse. Since we didn't get home till late I had to get up super early next morning to get ready to go to my TOTO'S house for a HUGE family early Christmas Party. I have been looking forward to this for weeks. We always have so much fun and get to see some family members I don't get to see very often. A few people weren't able to make it, this included my brother, Joseph :( We missed y'all !! I think I snacked way to much cause I didn't hardly eat anything for lunch. We had ribs and wings like we normal do and they were delicious.

Christmas Parade

Last night I took Allie Hunter to the Christmas Parade in downtown Tuscaloosa. We meet up with a friend and her little boy to watch it together. We had a delicious supper at Jim N Nicks before. Allie Hunter was all about Colton and even kissed him, which Colton did not like :) sshhh...don't tell daddy!!! The kids loved the parade but it was a long one. Took about an hour before it was over. They were both getting antsy and sleepy but we had to wait to see Santa cause he finished up the parade.

Warning-Sorry the pictures are so horrible, my phone is awful and plus it was at night :(

The Tuscaloosa Police Dept. had the Grinch locked up!!! SOOO CUTE
