4 Year Anniversary Cruise

This past weekend Chad and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on a Carnival cruise ship. We had taken one together before for our 1 year anniversary but we left out of New Orleans and went to Cozumel and the Yucatan. This trip we decided to fly to Jacksonville,FL where we boarded the Carnival Fascination ship. We flew out early Thursday morning and were on the ship by 2. The ship didn't set sail till around 5ish. Of course as always the ship was amazing and spectacular. Saturday morning we woke up and we were at Freeport, Bahamas. We got off and just walked around the town right near the boat. Nothing to exciting. That night we got all dressed up for Captains Dinner in the main dining area and then they had a "Las Vegas" type show for entertainment that night. Late Friday night we were told due to Hurricane Issac we would arrive the next day in Nassau, Bahamas an hour early and leave an hour early, so Saturday morning we woke up to Nassau, Bahamas. Of course the water was breath taking. The weather outside was great the wind was just real strong. We walked around the shops in the town for a little bit got Allie Hunter a few things and then took a taxi over the bridge to the Atlantis Resort. That place is amazing. Would love to go back. We just walked around the casino and through all the aquariums. It was so packed though, with the  people who were actually staying there then the people who were coming over from all the cruise ships that were docked. We had a wonderful dinner that night and Chad won $100 in the casino :) Now Sunday was a different story. It was our only day at sea and why did it have to be this day. The weather was overcast and the waves were HORRIBLE. We pretty much stayed in the room all day long. We would get so sea sick if we tried to get up and go anywhere. Thank goodness by late that evening it was so much better. We were able to enjoy our last night with a great dinner and another wonderful show. Sunday we woke up so glad to be getting off the boat. :) We had enough of the rough waves. We headed straight for the airport and right back home to good ol' Northport, Alabama. I love to go on vacation but I'm always ready to come back to my house, especially now that we have a child. I was so ready to see AH. We even made it back in time on Monday to pick her up from school. She looked at me when I walked in like she couldn't believe it was me and said "Mommie, its you" she gave me the biggest hug and just stared at me smiling. I missed that little girl soooooo much. I decided not to take my camera didn't wanna have to carry it around the airport and I was afraid if I put it in my check in luggage something would happen to it so the only pic we got from our cruise was of us two. Which hey, that's what the trip was all about JUST US !!

2 Year Pictures

My sweet baby girl turned 2 back in May. We have been so busy this summer with vacations and all kinds of showers and parties to attend. I finally got around to get Allie Hunter's 2 year pics done about a month ago and yes I am finally posting about it. My dear sweet friend, Kristie, who is a wonderful person inside and out met me one afternoon to just take a few snap shots of AH. I was so proud of AH she did great. She is so full of life, energy and herself these days. She was so excited to be getting her picture taken. She loves the camera and loves to say "CHEESE" sometimes she does it a little to much and looks like her eyes are closed. We took them at a church on the lake and AH loved looking at the water and watching for the boats. (She is obsessed about boats, ever since we moved up on the lake we go over the bridge everyday and she loves looking for the boats and she can spot one a mile away). So with all that said Allie Hunter's pictures turned out AMAZING. I have so many good ones to pick from don't know how I'm gonna decide which ones to blow up for the house. Here are just a hand full of some adorable ones that really bring out Allie Hunter's personality.

Love this precious smile

Love her dimples, I had some just like this when I was little

Thought we were done so we were changing and AH wanted more pics, this is why we are naked :)

Thanks Kristie for being an amazing friend and really capturing Allie Hunter's outgoing personality. Your the best :)

Happy 4 Year Anniversary to US!!

WOW.....Can not believe Chad and I have been married 4 years on Thursday (August 23,2008). I know I always say how fast time flies but I'm serious it does. Especially when you get married and start having kids. Just seems like yesterday we were getting ready for our big day. It was amazing and everything I could have dreamed of. I remember it rained ALL DAY LONG. Thank goodness I had gone with my gut instinct about having the wedding/reception indoors :) We got married at Northport Baptist and our reception was at the Bryant Conference Center. The day couldn't have been more perfect and the past 4 years have been amazing. We have grown so much as individuals and as a couple. God truly blessed me with a wonderful man and then with a wonderful daughter, Allie Hunter, who is now 2. Never would have dreamed my life would have turned out this way. Chad your the man of my dreams, my best friend, the love of my life and my baby's daddy :) Thank you for always just being YOU. You treat me like a princess and now our little girl is a little princess too. I love you forever and always.
Here are a few pictures from our wedding day.

HAPPY 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY to us. Here's to many more wonderful years to come.

New School...New Year

So sad my baby girl is already old enough to be in the K-2 classroom. It's so sad how fast she's growing up. Time has flown by with her. We actually had somethings change, Chad's job hours changed not sure how long it will be like this so he isn't going to be able to help me get AH to and from school and we had to take some other things into consideration so after a very long prayer we decided we had to pull AH out of Noah's Ark and she has started at North River Christian Academy. I am very sad that she won't be going to Noah's Ark anymore and we are going to miss her teachers soooo much and her little friends, but figured now was the better time to move her instead of right during middle of school year. She actually started North River this past Friday. They said she loved it and adjusted wonderfully. Friday when I picked up Allie Hunter she  told me she has lots of friends at school. Her teachers seem amazing, I believe this is going to be a wonderful year for AH with learning so many new things and hopefully we'll get this potty training down.
Here is to a GREAT school year to you baby girl......

Weekend Update

Okay..So another busy weekend has come and gone. Do you expect anything different from us Hoggle's? I swear ever since we moved back in to society from Moundville we haven't stopped or even slowed down. It's something ever weekend, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Friday after work I had some ME time and went and had my hair done. My hair dresser Lacey is fixing to have a baby so I had to get the last minute appt. in before she went out. That night our good friends Judd, Cassie and their little girl Addie who we literally haven't seen in MONTHS came over for dinner. Chad the grilling Chef he is fixed us some amazing food. I swear I'm gonna find that man a apron and chefs hat to wear when he is grilling. Allie Hunter enjoyed getting to play with Addie so much. They were from inside to outside and from one room to another playing. They had a blast. They even had to play ballerina dress up. Being the dance mom I am I even pulled out some of Allie Hunter's tutus for them to wear.

Saturday was Chad's 29th birthday. AH woke up that morning saying "Happy Day Ol'Man" Guess it's my fault since I called him old man since this is his last year in his 20's. Where does the time go?  Since we had so much to do that day daddy's celebration would come later that evening.(While we were gone think daddy enjoyed his b'day with the house to his self playing video games) Allie Hunter and I had to rush and get ready to go to my cousin Ashley's bridesmaid luncheon at Cypress Inn. The food was great and the cake we had for dessert was delicious.

After the luncheon AH and I rushed over to ABJ (her ballet studio) for open house. She is moving up to another class. Which I am so excited cause I get to sit back and watch and not have to participate, but there goes my only exercise I used to get. So she had to have tap shoes and we needed some new ballet slippers since hers were to little. She was so excited to be back there. She has missed it so much. Can't wait for September 6th to get here. She looks so dang cute running around the house in her tap shoes dancing. I need to video her. That evening after nap we went down to JD's camp house in Sawyerville to grill out, celebrate Chad's birthday and spend the night. We had a wonderful time. AH even stayed up with us till midnight. Needless to say though we didn't sleep good cause she slept with us and we aren't used to that and either is she. Thank goodness we slept to 10. JD and Aunt Jen Jen got up and fixed us a wonderful breakfast before we headed back home. On the way home we had to stop at the farm so AH could feed and pet the horses. She loves them.

Happy Day Ol'Man as AH would say

Sunday once we got home we all took naps then JD and Aunt Jen Jen came over to our house to grill out and watch Shark Week. It was a busy but wonderful weekend spent with wonderful people.

Weekend Update=3rd Beach Trip of Summer

So this past weekend we headed down to the beach for our last beach trip of the summer. We went to Panama City with Chad's family. We ended up leaving Thursday after lunch and finally got down there about 8 that evening. Allie Hunter decided she was only going to take a 20 minute nap once we left home and then she jabbered the ENTIRE way down there, wonder where she gets that :) Since we didn't arrive till late and AH didn't take much of a nap we just decided to stay in and call it a night. The next morning Bob fixed us all breakfast. After that Chad and I took AH across the street to Pier Park to do some shopping. It was sorta a cloudy day and AH had been having a rash so we were gonna give it one more day till we took her out in the sand and ocean. It also happened to be there tax free weekend so we decided to do a little shopping. I bought AH a few outfits in Carter's, which I was very disappointed in because they had nothing between 2T-4T to pick from but they had so much stuff under 2T and over 4T. Which guess was a good thing cause I didn't spend but $50. We shopped in a few other stores ate lunch and took AH to get ice cream at a place called Marble Slab. Which is like Cold Stone but so much BETTER !!!! Then we headed back to the condo and AH and I layed down for a nap. Once she got up we got ready and went out to eat dinner at the Back Porch with the whole family. After dinner we walked around  Pier Park some more and did a little more shopping. Gigi bought AH some hot pink crocs and let her pick out 2 designs to go in the holes. Of course she picked out Dora and Hello Kitty ( Kitty Kitty ) We also took AH to the kids play area in the park and let her ride several rides. She loved them all. I'm telling y'all she's my little dare devil, just like her mommie !

Saturday we got up had breakfast and decided to take AH down to the beach for a little bit. Of course we get everything down to beach and after about 30 minutes the bottom falls out. Try carrying a 2 year old bag full of toys and running up the beach in the pouring down ran. Needless to say I'm out of shape bad. The rain didn't last long so we just ate an early lunch and went back down to the pool because it was still a little cloudy. AH LOVES the pool. We stayed in the pool for over an hour and half. She was showing off all her swimming lessons skills to everybody out there. Then of course nap again and of course yes I napped with her. The sun and caring for a 2 year old will wear you out :) That night we all decided to go out to eat again since it was our last night. After a long event about where to eat we ended up at Hammerhead Fred's and boy was it delicious. I had crab stuffed grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon and it was probably the best seafood I've ever eaten. AH got to pick her out a hippy yellow punch bug car in the gift shop for being so good that night. After dinner Natalie and I spotted this awesome ride called the slingshot. So of course the thrill seeker I am we had to do it. It was the most fun ride I've EVER done. Out beat any ride at Six Flags. Just wished it had lasted longer. We have a video so if I can figure out how to upload I will.

Sunday morning we got up and we all went and ate breakfast at the Steaks, Shakes and Pancakes place. Very good buffet. We decided since we all didn't get much time to go to the beach we would go after breakfast. We stayed down at beach for a little over and hour then came back up to bath/shower and to finish our last minute packing. On the way out we stopped by Dillard's with Chad's mom and sister and of course AH had to pick something out. She got a hello kitty wallet. SHE LOVES IT. Carries it everywhere and has to show you her "MONEYS" she keeps in it. Then we headed back to good ol' Tuscaloosa. I was so dreading the ride but it wasn't to bad. Natalie had told us about this sweet's place between Troy and Montgomery to stop at on the way home. It was called Sweet P's treats and eats. They have a little deli, ice cream and several types of sweets. Of course Allie Hunter's favorite was getting to see the real pink cow. She was so cute. She was only 11 months old. AH proceeded to tell us she wanted her Paw Paw to buy her a pink cow. haha She talked about this pink cow the rest of the way home. We finally got home at 8, unloaded and all 3 went straight to bed.

Here are a few pics from the weekend off our phone cameras. When I get some more uploaded I'll will post more :)
