Saturday we got up had breakfast and decided to take AH down to the beach for a little bit. Of course we get everything down to beach and after about 30 minutes the bottom falls out. Try carrying a 2 year old bag full of toys and running up the beach in the pouring down ran. Needless to say I'm out of shape bad. The rain didn't last long so we just ate an early lunch and went back down to the pool because it was still a little cloudy. AH LOVES the pool. We stayed in the pool for over an hour and half. She was showing off all her swimming lessons skills to everybody out there. Then of course nap again and of course yes I napped with her. The sun and caring for a 2 year old will wear you out :) That night we all decided to go out to eat again since it was our last night. After a long event about where to eat we ended up at Hammerhead Fred's and boy was it delicious. I had crab stuffed grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon and it was probably the best seafood I've ever eaten. AH got to pick her out a hippy yellow punch bug car in the gift shop for being so good that night. After dinner Natalie and I spotted this awesome ride called the slingshot. So of course the thrill seeker I am we had to do it. It was the most fun ride I've EVER done. Out beat any ride at Six Flags. Just wished it had lasted longer. We have a video so if I can figure out how to upload I will.
Sunday morning we got up and we all went and ate breakfast at the Steaks, Shakes and Pancakes place. Very good buffet. We decided since we all didn't get much time to go to the beach we would go after breakfast. We stayed down at beach for a little over and hour then came back up to bath/shower and to finish our last minute packing. On the way out we stopped by Dillard's with Chad's mom and sister and of course AH had to pick something out. She got a hello kitty wallet. SHE LOVES IT. Carries it everywhere and has to show you her "MONEYS" she keeps in it. Then we headed back to good ol' Tuscaloosa. I was so dreading the ride but it wasn't to bad. Natalie had told us about this sweet's place between Troy and Montgomery to stop at on the way home. It was called Sweet P's treats and eats. They have a little deli, ice cream and several types of sweets. Of course Allie Hunter's favorite was getting to see the real pink cow. She was so cute. She was only 11 months old. AH proceeded to tell us she wanted her Paw Paw to buy her a pink cow. haha She talked about this pink cow the rest of the way home. We finally got home at 8, unloaded and all 3 went straight to bed.
Here are a few pics from the weekend off our phone cameras. When I get some more uploaded I'll will post more :)
