Memorial Day Weekend

The weekend started off very busy. I had to work Friday and AH stayed home with her daddy I had several errands to run after work, and we all no its easier doing them without a 2 year old. So by the time I got home it was after 6 so it was just a chill at home pizza kind of night. Oh, and this day marked 3 weeks in our new home :) Don't think we have had a just lay around weekend night since we've moved in so tonight was the night. Saturday daddy went to play golf and AH and I just played in the backyard and she got in her kiddie pool. Once she swam for about an hour she decided she wanted to go back outside and just went straight in her pool t-shirt in all :)
That afternoon we went to celebrate at one of Allie Hunter's little friends,Josie's birthday party. It was a wonderful party and AH had a blast getting to see Josie and some other special friends.

Once we left the party we rushed home to have a cook out with some friends we haven't hung out with in forever John Paul, Brittany and their little girl Tuner McCartney. The girls had a blast playing with each other and of course AH had to show TM everything that was "HERS" They had a blast climbing up AH's tree house and sliding down the slide. They probably did this 100 times. Then TM had to experience AH's 4 wheeler. She loved it. Sorry Brittany, but now TM HAS TO have one. She loved it. AH decided she wanted to drive TM around. haha They were so cute
Sunday we woke up early and went straight to Mimi and Poppy's house to swim in the pool. I got to lay out some and get some Mommie relaxation time. Very needed. Allie Hunter wasn't sure at first if she wanted to get in but once she got hot enough she didn't want to get out of the water. She loved it. She wanted to be a big girl and lay on the floats like me and Mimi were doing. Poppy cooked us a big lunch and when it came nap time for AH she was ready the sun wore her out. But once she woke up she wanted right back in the pool. Late that afternoon we went to the farm and spent the afternoon and night down there with Chads family. AH's favorite part about going down there is seeing the horses and chickens (which she calls chick chick) This trip she actually got to ride one of the horses named Pete (which is her daddy's horse). That did it for her, so know instead of saying "I wanna see horses" she says "I wanna ride horses"  Gotta love her, she's spoiled.
Who would have thought this child that is terrified of the cow at chick fil a would love and be obsessed with horses. crazy

My 1st Scooter (Yeah, like we needed another toy)

So Chad and I have been racking our brains for months now about what to get AH for her birthday. The child seriously doesn't need anything, she has everything ( guess that's what happens when your an only child and only grandchild on both sides) I thought about just putting money in her savings account but I still wanted to be able to say "mommy and daddy got her this..". So we decided on this pink my 1st scooter. Something that wasn't to big. Needless to say my child's so high maintenance after showing her how to ride it she continued to just stand on it with both feet screaming "PUSH", she wanted US to push her. Such a sassy little thing. Then she decided since we wouldn't keep pushing her that she could just sit on it and straddle it and push it with her feet while sitting on it. Laziness :) Gotta love her though, She's very determined and she'll find a way. We also got her a little DORA bed comforter, sheet and pillowcase. I know don't hate. I can't stand character bedding either. It's so cheesy. She had saw one but it was Minnie Mouse at Target and pitched a fit for it but we didn't buy it for her cause she doesn't even watch Minnie Mouse anymore she's all about Dora. But didn't know what else to get her and found a Dora one at walmart and she absolutely loves it. Figured she could enjoy it now in her toddler bed cause when she gets in a big girl bed no more character bedding. But hey, at least it matched her new wall color. Her favorite thing right now about her bed is her pillow which she says "my PIOW" some how she leaves the L's out but only in this word. So adorable though. She drags her pillow in the den, our bedroom wherever she goes it's gonna come. Heaven forbid you lay out and she will freak out. IT'S HER PIOW !!
So excited about her Scooter, right before she told daddy "PUSH"

She's thinking forget this I'll do it my own way if you want push me around. Love her.

Allie Hunter is 2

As I am writing this I am still fighting back the tears ... sniff sniff. I can't believe my sweet baby girl is 2. Time has flown by way to fast. She is changing so much everyday, can't even blink my eye cause she's learned something else new and repeating everything. She's not suppose to be growing up this fast. Can't believe that two years ago she came into this world weighing 6.2lbs and now weighing in at 30lbs. She is an independent, sassy, fun-loving, fearless, loving and smart little girl. I know I say every time she's in a different stage that "I love this stage the most" but seriously I love this age and stage the most !!! She's so much fun to play with wanting to pretend, play dress up. I love that she can actually communicate with me what she wants or doesn't want and if something is the matter or hurts she can tell me. Alot easier than having a fussy child trying to figure out why they are crying.

My sweet girl on her birthday, ready to go celebrate at school with her friends !

I took some butterfly cookies ( from celebrations, yummy ) to AH's school on Monday for her to be able to celebrate her real birthday with all her new friends at school and her wonderful teachers. Thank you Ashton for taking some pictures for me :)

After I picked up AH from school we topped her birthday day off with celebrating at chick fil a with one of her best friends Emma Grace. They girls had a blast eating and playing until the cow showed up and both girls were climbing all over us cause they were scared of the big cow, though when the cow went back in the back AH was pitching a fit cause she wanted him to come back out, really don't think AH knew what she wanted. hahaha Our other little friend Reagan (Ray Ray) was gonna come but hate she wasn't able to make it to celebrate with us, but we will for sure be going back soon :)

Allie Hunter wasn't wanting to eat so I told her that if she didn't eat she couldn't go play and guess Emma Grace was ready to go play so she decided to hand feed Allie Hunter. What are best friends for :)
yay finally got a picture of Emma Grace, obviously she doesn't like smiling at the camera

Allie Hunter's 2nd Birthday Party

We had Allie Hunter's 2nd birthday party again this year at her MiMi and Poppy's house. All morning before the party, AH was running around the house screaming "my pardy" over and over. She was so excited to see all of her friends. It turned out so amazing. Everything was just perfect. We celebrated with a pool party and had pizza, hot dogs, chips, cake, cupcakes and ice cream. So many of AH's friends and family came to help us celebrate this special occasion. She got so many amazing gifts. A couple of her favorite gifts she got was of course anything that had DORA on it and some Nike shoes. She's gonna be just like her momma loving shoes. Who would have thought a 2 year old would love shoes. She wore them all afternoon and would not take them off. I was so excited of how cute and delicious her cake turned it, Frosted Brush did an amazing job. Here are a few pics of our sweet little girls special day.

So AH WOULD NOT blow her candles out and WOULD NOT even look at them. She hates fire so much and is so terrified, so Mommy had to blow out her candles for her.

Opening all of her wonderful gifts from everybody. Thank you all so very much for everything.

NYC

OK, So I know this is a little late  but couldn't help but want to share and relive my experience in the big apple on our girls trip to NYC with just my mom and sister. We had a blast. Back in January we went to NYC for just a girls trip/my birthday ( really who needs an excuse to go there ) We were only there for a short time though, but we made the best of it. We did the hop on hop off bus tour which was wonderful considering it was FREEZING.  The second day we were there we woke up super early to go stand outside Good Morning America and got to meet the host and have our picture taken and for those of you that didn't see WE MADE IT ON TV...YAY
This was a long morning of waiting but worth it.

We also went to the wax museum which I had been dying to do and we all had a blast taking pictures. We had a wonderful celebration dinner for my birthday at Pat O' Grady's, Delicious. Also ate at Juniors and that was very good also there cheesecakes were awesome. But my favorite place we ate was the first day there we ate at John's Pizzeria (OMG, still craving this) The main thing me and my sister were looking forward to was the hot dog stands, and let me just tell you that was a huge disappointment, they were disgusting. I about threw up. I was so shocked, I was expecting it to be better than a stadium dog but needless to say we were proven wrong. Never again will I buy a hot dog from a stand on the side of the street. Hopefully it was just that particular stand we went to though.

View from our hotel room at the Marriott Marquis

We also did a taxi boat tour around the Statue of Liberty. Went to see the Lion King on Broadway and of course did alot of Shopping. China town was an experience. We followed some lady all around looking for bags/jewelry/watches etc. needless to say we had to hide just to get away from her so she would stop bothering us. We ended up on the other side of China Town. Thank goodness some man walked buy who was American and also had been living there for several years and helped us back to where our bus would pick us up.
Though I must say I had a blast in NYC and would love to go back, the highlight and favorite part of the trip for me was getting to go to Hobokon, NJ to Carlo's Bakery. I love this show it is was of my favorites. To be honest I didn't care about doing anything else while I was here as much as going there. haha and we did ! We had called a car taxi place to come pick us up and take us and bring us back and when they arrived to our surprise it was a white stretch limo...how does that happen? They didn't have a town car so we got the next best thing for same price..AWESOME we were so excited, Luck like this never happens to me. So we rode to Carlo's Bakery in style.
YAY, finally get to say I have been to Carlo's Bakery

Our ride to Carlo's Bakery, White Stretch Limo

This trip was so much fun. Not only to have no kids it was so nice to just spend it with my mom and sister. Hopefully we can go back again soon and have another ALL GIRLS trip.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day turned into a great busy day. Woke up to AH and the Hubs fixing me breakfast. Got to just relax that morning and watch my favorite channel, Lifetime. Went to Chads farm to eat lunch with his family. It was delicious as always. AH got to go see all the animals. She got to pet and feed the horses, and of course she LOVED it. She also go to help Paw Paw get chicken egg. Then went to my parents to spend supper with my mom and family. Another wonderful dinner. Felt like all I did Sunday was eat. Probably ate more that day than any other holiday.

Best Friends

Allie Hunter's best friend Emma Grace and her lil' sissy Ella Raegan came over to play yesterday and visit our new house. I love getting the girls together and letting them play they act like sisters, loving on each other one minute then whining cause the other one has what they want the next. haha They were so excited to see each other. AH hasn't seen EG in a week or so cause they no longer attend the same preschool :( which means just alot more play dates to line up. Here's some pics of the BFF's !

AH's look when I won't get up to help her ! She still has to learn how to steer her 4-wheeler

AH and lil' sissy ER

Silly girls. Do you know how hard it is to get 2 two year olds to smile and look at the same time especially when they are outside playing.

"you hide me"

Wish I had taken a picture of the girls eating Popsicles. Can't believe Kelli has deprived that baby of one. ( haha Kelli you know I love you ) So don't kill me when Emma Grace wants them all the time. My child seriously could eat 5 a day. She's obsessed.

Starting a New Chapter

Okay, So I promised myself that I would start blogging as soon as we moved to our new home. Well the time has come. I am not one that is very good with computers but hopefully I will learn alot about this and become a pro at blogging.

We recently moved from Moundville back up to Northport. I AM SOOOOO STINKING EXCITED !!!!! ( if you can't tell by my ALL CAPS ) We are so much closer to everyone and mine and Chads drive to work are both shorter. I am so excited to be starting this new journey in our lives. Hopefully once everything gets settled and calmed down after this month I can do some serious blogging. This month has and is going to be a BUSY month for the us. First off we moved to new home, AH started a new preschool program which she loves, getting her adjusted to that and her new room with her new big girl bed had me stressed out beyond belief but she has picked right up like nothing has changed, AH's 2nd birthday party at Mimi and Poppy's house, our house warming party and finally AH has to get tubes AGAIN and her adenoids taking out. :( Bless her I know, but hopefully this will be it.

I promise to get some pictures of the house ASAP. We  JD ( Aunt Jen Jen's BF ) painted AH's room and the laundry room and they look amazing. I love how it all turned out. Even though JD and Chad ragged me about the paint choice for AH's room at first they both fell in love it later. ( Which they probably still won't admit )
