"CUPTAKES"

Thought I needed to blog this. A favorite and wanted to remember in future.

Last week we had swim lessons and we had to stop by grocery store on the way home. When we pulled up at grocery store I told AH that since she was good at swim lessons and if she was good in grocery then she could pick out a prize. She first said "no pize" then I had to explain all the choices she had. I told her she could pick anything...candy,gummies,a balloon etc. So the whole time we are in grocery store she was saying "mommie, I get pize". We walked down the candy aisle and she found some gummies "gumpies" so that's what she wanted. On our way to the check out counter we had to walk through the bakery section. Allie Hunter found her some "cuptakes". I proceeded to tell her that she didn't need "cuptakes" that she had picked out "gumpies". She walked over to me and handed me her "gumpies" and said "no gumpies mommie". Then walked over and picked up the 6 pack of cupcakes. Walked back over to me and touched my arm and said "Mommie, I swim good..I need cuptakes" Wish I had a pick of her face when she came over to tell me that. Looked like the face of a 10 year old in a 2 year old body being so serious. So I'm sure you all know what happened next. The child got her "cuptakes". Who was I to break her little heart when she asked so sweet. Gotta love this baby girl.
So happy to be finally eating her "CUPTAKE"

I LOVE............

Allie Hunter-

I love how you are so independent, sassy, fun-loving, and a mommies baby (which are you becoming more of a daddy's girl). I love how you always want to kiss my boo-boos and I can tell you I have one and you will kiss it. I love how you always wake up in mornings screaming "mommie, let me out". I love how when we tell you we love you your response now is "I love you too". I love how when we say our prayers at night you lay there and listen to me and you always know when I'm finished and you say "AMEN" while nodding your head. I love how you always have to "DO IT". I love when we come home you rush inside to let Levi (our dog) out of his cage. You always tell me you have to poo-poo in potty and we go several times a day but you never poo-poo. I think you just like playing with the toilet paper. You have started always taking your diaper off and want to run around naked (looks like potty training is in your near future). I love how you always tell me how you want to wear your hair...Pony Tail or Headband and you always have to pick out your hair bow which never matches. You also always have to pick out your clothes, which makes me sad but at least you always pick out a cute outfit. I love how you always want to talk to me and have conversations with me while we are driving in the car. Don't know where this came from but you always ask me "do --------- (so or so) bite?". I wish we owned a cow that produced Chocolate milk, cause we can never have enough "CHOC MILK" for you. You want it all the time. I love how I can ask you what you want to drink and eat at a restaurant and you'll tell me and eat sooooo good. I love that your MY BABY GIRL  and that will never change. You will always be my best friend. I love you to the moon and back.

Love,
Your Mommie

Swim Lessons

I have been telling myself that I was going to put Allie Hunter in swim lessons for months. Well I finally did it. I was determined I wasn't going to do it by myself since I actually had to get in the water with her in my bathing suit in front of everyone. So my wonderful friend and her daughter who I can always call and say "hey we are doing this, do it with us" did it with us. It doesn't take much convincing her. haha That's why I love her. We just started yesterday and the girls did AMAZING. I have been taking AH to my Mom and Dad's pool to get her used to it and Sunday when we went I already had her jumping off the sides so I was hoping that was just a GOOD sign that we were ready for swim lessons. We started off teaching them to sit on the side of the pool and count 1,2,3 jump so they wouldn't just jump in as they please. Then we practiced blowing bubbles, which took AH a few tries but she finally got it. We practiced throwing a toy and letting her swim and kick to go get it (felt like I was training a dog to fetch) but hey it worked and would make her kick to go get her toy. hahah We also practiced "scooping" them under water, which AH surprisingly did great. I have never let her go under cause she has tubes and we never have our ear plugs in but she wore them to swim and did so good. Also practiced laying on our backs, swimming with a noodle, and us pushing her to the instructor so she would float a little distance on her tummy. All and all the 4 kids that were there did great. You would have thought they all had done this before. We also were excited to see a little friend Anna Riley who was in our class back in spring at Noah's Ark. Glad we know 2 out of the 3 other kids in there. Allie Hunter already can't wait to go Thursday. She woke up this morning saying "Mommie, I swim today" bless her she's so excited. Though her favorite part was probably the end when we all sang wheels on the bus and of course they got to pick out a sucker. Of course Allie Hunter and Emma Grace had to pick out the same color and what color would they choose, blue, they looked like smurfs. Gotta love them!
Walking into Swim Lessons. They are so sweet and are always very excited to see each other.

Patiently waiting to get in water.

Checking it all out before we started

All finished with swim lessons and headed out with our blue sucker and blue face !

Weekend Update

Our weekend started off with a birthday party for a co-worker of mine on Friday night. Her little boy ( don't know if turning 4 is considered little ) Colton turned 4. Can't believe he is already 4. When I first started working with his mom at DCH she was 7 months pregnant with him. Time has flown by so fast. Colton's birthday party was at the Fun Factory, they had all kind of arcade games, and several blow up jumping slides. Of course my child was like a little dare devil. I'm telling y'all she isn't afraid of ANYTHING ( except the cow at chick fil a and fire ) sliding down slides, jumping off anything she's there first in line. :) So to say she had a blast was an understatement. Of course she pitched a fit when we had to go into the party room to eat pizza and cake. Forget eating she'd rather play. Once we finally convinced her she sat right down and of course didn't take but a couple bites of her pizza but dove right into the icing on the cake. Baby girl had icing all over her, but hey she was content and having a blast so who was I to rain on her parade. Whatever works  !! Another coworker of mine was there with her 2 little girls. Allie Hunter was all about her youngest Landri Brooke. Allie Hunter  had to be either doing what she was doing, holding her hand, sitting in her lap, etc. She even pitched a fit with me when I tried to wipe her hands and mouth from all the icing screaming "LANDRI DO IT" oh, excuse me so poor Landri Brooke had to do it, don't think she was to happy about it but she was a good sport.

AH being such a big girl

Finally talked her into sliding down with mommie, had a blast

AH making a huge mess, but hey she was enjoying herself

Poor Landri Brooke, She's such a good sport. Love the look on her face. PRICELESS

Saturday morning we started ballet class again. This will be our 3rd time doing the mommy and me ballet class. AH loves doing it and loves the teacher Ms. Molly Brooke. She is amazing with the little kids. This class AH's best friend Emma Grace got to join us. The girls had so much fun getting to "TIP TOE" together.  After ballet we went and joined Kelli and Emma Grace for lunch at the Mexican restaurant. Then home to take a nap. Just had a lazy rest of the day at home for once.

Sweet girls

So excited to see each other

Words from the mouth of a 2 year old

Everything out of AH's mouth is either "I DO IT", "I HELP YOU" or "I HOLD YOU". Though my all time favorite ( note the sarcasm ) is "THAT'S MINE". Everything is HERS.

AH ask "IS IT HOT" about everything
She calls a Popsicle a "POPTICLE"
She calls her Gummies "GUMMPES"
She's insisting Levi's ( our dog ) name is "SISSY" ( yeah, really have no idea )

Ask every morning on the way to school " mommie, we going to see the cow"-When I say no we are going to school, but do you want to go see the cow she says "NO MOMMIE" and starts to whine ( have no idea )

When she tee tee's or poo poo's on the potty she says "I DID IT, NOW I NEED THAT" ( pointing the the toilet paper )

Loves playing dress up and cooking in her kitchen. All the time bringing her kitchen spoon and bowl in the den to me and her daddy saying "HERE, EAT THIS"

Loves her baby that has a magnetic passy. If you ask her who's passy it is she says "ITS THE BABY'S PASSY"

Insist on putting on her own diaper. ( This makes for a dramatic diaper change ) - why we are starting to wear pull ups

Every morning when I'm getting ready she looks out our bedroom door to backyard and says "KITTY CAT WHERE ARE YOU" ( have a neighborhood cat that comes in our backyard, AH thinks its HER CAT )

When you ask AH where her daddy is her response is always "DADDY AT WORK"

She is obsessed about her backpack. When I pick AH from school first thing she says to me " I GET MY BACKPACK" and runs straight to where it is.

When we drive over the bridge on Tierce Patton she has to tell me "MOMMY THAT'S MY WATER" every time. (just this bridge she does this)

When you ask her how old she is she says "I'M TWO" while holding up 5 fingers. (yeah 2 going on 5 is right) haha

AH's Play Date

Last Thursday May 31 we had a wonderful play date with some of AH's friends. Reagan ( which I have known her mom since high school ) and Emma Grace ( her mother and I meet when the girls were just a few weeks old ). We took the girls to CHOM and they had a blast. Of course Allie Hunter wanted to just run around and do her own thing, whatever and whenever. Emma Grace was just so excited I think that every room we went into she had to observe everything in it and Reagan was just so chilled, layed back, okay I'll do whatever. They also had some class at 10:30 that we did called "lets get physical" it was just dancing and exercising and acting silly. I think I was worried the most about AH not doing what she was suppose to be doing or just wanting to leave but she did wonderful she fit right in. Took Emma Grace and Reagan a little long to open up. But hey, Allie Hunter is MY child so she doesn't meet a stranger. hahah  After CHOM we walked across the street and ate lunch a Mellow Mushroom, haven't ate there in forever and forgot how delicious there pizzas were. So thankful I had a day off during the week to enjoy with Allie Hunter and good friends.
Anything to do with a horse AH is all about

There's no way to get all 3 girls to look at same time

Emma Grace, her Mommy and Sissy

This picture just makes me so sad. Before we know it they will seriously be getting into a car to go hang out together :(

YAY, Meg got a sorta half smile

Getting ready for the "lets get physical" class

Meg please don't hate me, your such a good sport more the reason we love you ;)
