This past weekend my first cousin, Ashley, got married. It was in Meridian, MS. Allie Hunter and I were both in the wedding. So it was gonna make for a stressful weekend for me since I had to be in it and also worry about her. But she actually did very good. We went down Friday after lunch and helped with some last minute things and got ready for the Rehearsal/Dinner. After Rehearsal they had lined up a babysitter to watch the young kids, which was amazing and a wonderful idea so we could all enjoy ourselves too. Of course when I got back to hotel to get AH it was 11pm and of course she was still going strong. She loves everyone and doesn't meet a stranger. Anybody that will pay her some attention she's your BFF ! :) Very sociable like her mommie. Saturday was gonna make for a long day. We had to get up early half of us got our hair/makeup done then we had to head over to a lady's house for another bridesmaid brunch. Let me just say that had me a nervous wreck. This house was not kid friendly. They had all kinds of fancy and breakable things sitting everywhere and we were having to eat off fine china...YIKES. So after we left there I started to breathe again. We had to rush and head back to hotel to finish getting ready before we headed over to church to start pictures. Chad and some of the guys had played golf that morning and when he got back it was time for AH to take a nap. I was determined she was getting one since she was in wedding. Of course she did. Chad had to wake her up after 2 hours cause it was time for them to meet us at church. The wedding started at 6. Of course everything was beautiful. My 2 favorite memories of the wedding was right before when J and Ashley saw each other for the first time. It was so sweet and so special and also at the end of wedding they had a black choir sing "O HAPPY DAY" couldn't have been more perfect. AH did great walking down the aisle but daddy was suppose to grab her up before she actually made it all the way up front so he had to come get her(cause I knew she wouldn't have stood up there still and quite the whole time) and of course she got upset so he had to walk her out. But hey, at least she walked down the aisle. That's all I asked for. The reception was absolutely gorgeous. The band was amazing, food was fabulous and the photo booth was hilarious. Everybody had a blast. I know Ashley and J will remember this day forever couldn't have been anymore special for them. Sunday morning we woke up had brunch down in the hotel lobby and headed over to help finish cleaning up the reception area. We were home around 1 and we were all exhausted from a very busy fun filled weekend. Didn't get to take many pics due to me and AH both being in wedding so when I can get some from photographer I will post.
Congrats to Ashley and J. Yall's day was beyond perfect.
