Hoggle Happenings: Christmas 2012

Sunday December 23
     We went to my Aunt Cheryl's house in Greensboro for Christmas with my dad's side of the family. We had a wonderful lunch and AH got some cute gifts, from a Beauty and the Beast tea party set to a princess castle tent to a baby doll. That night Chad and I meet 2 couple friends of ours (Ben and Monica and Byron and Beth) for a Christmas get together dinner at Clark's near the house (Chad and I have come to call this our new favorite place). We had a wonderful time catching up and the company was amazing. We also played dirty Santa and ended up with some cute little gifts.

Monday December 24, Christmas Eve
     Well our morning didn't start off very good we ended up back at the doctors office with AH. I had taken her on Saturday and they said she just had a cough and Upper Respiratory Infection and gave her nothing. Well now she had all that and was worse and on top of it had been running fever. Thank goodness flu came back negative but ended up out at hospital just for a chest xray. After all this we had to rush back home to get ready to go to my moms and dads for a gift swap with my family. While we were getting ready doctor called back to say her xray was inconclusive to if it was pneumonia or bronchitis. Just to keep a watch and the worse should be over. Are you kidding ??? WOW Chad and I were so frustrated. So then headed to my parents. Allie Hunter got so much stuff from my family. A north face raincoat,princess dress up clothes, a leap pad reading book, some adorable clothes, and a mermaid baby doll to play with in the tub. Chad and I also got some awesome gifts. Chad got some hunting clothes, gift card to Lowe's and I got a new bedspread and a kitchen aid mixer along with a few other things we got together. That evening we headed to Chad's Aunt Tricia's for his mom's side of the family Christmas. Had another wonderful meal and played the longest game of dirty Santa EVER! Headed home right after to get Allie Hunter in the bed for Santa.

Tuesday December 25, Happy Birthday Jesus
      AH didn't sleep good again that night we were up all night with fever and she even threw up in our bed once. :( YUCK, poor baby. When we walked into the den she just wasn't feeling it,I think it was a mix of not feeling good to being overwhelmed. When she saw Woody and Bullseye her comment was "Where's Jesse mommie, Santa forgot her?" Then she sorta got a little excited about some of her toys Santa had brought her. He brought her a double baby stroller, Lee Middleton doll, baby bed for her baby, some baby clothes, woody and bullseye, along with a new backpack/lunch box and several other small things. We had to leave AH to playing with her stuff from Santa since we had moved my mom's side of the family to earlier that morning since the weather was getting bad and my cousin and her husband had to drive back to Orange Beach. AH was so excited to open up her Jesse from my Aunt Anne, Uncle Randall and Lena. She also got the cutest tusk wear shirt from Cousin Ashley and J. We played dirty Santa and I ended up with my gift I brought :) and Chad ended up with a knife sharping kit. After we ate an early lunch we drove over to Chad's parents to do Santa with them. His parents had given us our Christmas present early, 3 bar stools for our kitchen. Which we LOVE and they also gave us few other things. AH got another baby, a vacuum, some clothes and an adorable white coat. Thank goodness that was our last stop for Christmas. By this time we were ready to get home and relax. This year seemed extra fast passed and more stressed maybe cause AH was sick all weekend. Hopefully next year will be more relaxing. Now time to start saving again.
