Weekend Update

Well our weekend didn't start off to great .... or least for Chad it didn't. Friday morning we had to be up bright and early. Chad had to be at the dentist for an appointment at 7:30. He had an cystic abscess above his front tooth on his gums that had to be cut out. Little did he know it went all the way up into his facial bone. OUCH!!! The drive over was HILARIOUS, wish I could have recorded him. He had taken some medicine before we left so he would be relaxed. All he kept talking about was how cool it was that  this 4 runner in front of us had 4 lights(which he was seeing double) and instead of it saying 4 runner on the SUV he said it said "4 runner 4 runner" God Love Him!!! The procedure took about a good hour and half. They ended up having to kill the nerve and do a root canal and had to drill a hole in his facial bone to make sure they got all the abscess out. GROSS. The rest of the day was spend being lazy, watching movies and of course me being a wonderful nurse. It was actually so nice though to just sit down and relax and watch a movie with Chad while AH was at school. But lets be honest I didn't sit the entire time, I washed clothes, cleaned house and cleaned out AH's playroom. SUCCESS !!! That night Jennifer and JD came over to eat supper with us and we played phase 10. Yes we have gotten hooked on playing this game.

Saturday morning AH and I were just being lazy watching movies it was such an ugly day. Chad was still laying in bed with half a swollen face. He looked like a "who" off how the Grinch stole Christmas. AH and I ended up going to run some errands with my mom and to grab some lunch at Jim N Nicks. When we got home I enjoyed some lifetime movies while Chad and AH napped.

Sunday morning we all got up and headed to church. I was so glad Chad decided to join us even though his face was still swollen. It was another AWESOME service. I have become to feel like this church is where we are suppose to be, that this is where we are suppose to call our "home". It's an amazing feeling being able to feel that way. It's made us want to be better people, get more involved with a small group (which we are joining this month) and live everyday for him !!! After church Chad picked Hokkaido to eat then we headed home for another lazy afternoon. Wouldn't trade these for nothing. Love being all snuggled up in my warm house with my perfect little family. GOD IS GOOD !!!
